Fun day at the park!

The last day of February was beautiful! A high of 70 degrees and lots of sun made for a perfect end of the month! We can't wait to have several of these beautiful days....spring and summer is so close!

So after preschool we headed to forest park! We met Katie and the kids out there as well! Our kids just love each other, I'm so glad we still get together!
The kids played and played,,,,and mommy's just chatted with the babies!
After a couple hours we all headed home to end a beautiful spring like day!

A toy has been spotted

For the first time Kyle was cooing and smiling at his toy hanging from his carseat! On our way to pick Kaylee up from preschool this afternoon I looked back and saw him smiling! So I hit the little football toy hanging down and he loved watching it move! It was so cute! Each time I hit it he'd just giggle a little,coo and smile really big! Loved it!

And the Sickies have hit

Kaylee got her first double ear infection and a horrible cold last week..poor little girl! She is on her favorite antibiotics...aka bubble gum medicine! Thankfully her ears are not hurting her anymore after a few days on the meds.

Then Kyle got his first horrible cold a few days later, as well did daddy! Thankfully I've escaped it...fingers crossed it continues!
Kyle is just miserable with a yucky cough and icky nose stuff! He's really not eating much maybe 3 3oz bottles a day and rest of the time its 2oz's or less. Thankfully no fever and his breathing is very good which is the most important!
Last Daddy and I were up pretty much all night with our poor baby..he was just miserable and not sleeping real well! He seemed to be having breathing issues but thankfully after a couple hours it all made sense..he was trying to poo! After that he seemed good breath wise but was still so restless...its just so sad to see his like this!

Kindergarden Ready!

So this afternoon I went and signed my baby girl up for all day kindergarden. In August 2012 she will go to her first day at Hinkle Creek Elementary...ALL day from 8:40am - 3:25pm! I'm so excited for her but sad for me! I cried my eyes out on the way home but didn't let my sweetie see me! hehehe I'm going to miss her so much but I know she is going to have a great time and make so many new friends!

I am special week for Kaylee

This week is Kaylee's I am special week at preschool...its so cute! We've had fun getting ready for it and Valentines Day!

First for Tuesday we made her poster all about her and her likes..of course there were animals all over it! Then we made rice crispie treats with sprinkles for snack time. Wednesday she got to take a show item in..with three clues as to what it was! She chose to take her white tiger..clues -
1 - its white with black stripes
2 - sometimes lives in a zoo
3 - we can't remember what she wrote down hahaha
Thursday I got to go in the last 15min of class and read a book to the class! Her choice was a book about kittens...pretty cute!





Very cute week!

Kaylee also had Valentines Day at school and all the kids exchanged cute Valentine cards...so sweet and cute! Kaylee did great and even being a little sick wrote her name on all 19 cards for her class...I helped her out by writing all her friends names for her! Another fun time with my baby girl!

Newport Aquarium

Our first trip to the Newport Aquarium was pretty neat! Its about a 2.5hr drive but the kids did great! We stopped at Crackle Barrel for Kaylee's favorite breakfast...Mamma's Pancake breakfast...the girl LOVES them and bacon!
The Aquarium was pretty nice, not very big though! There were some pretty neat fish and Kaylee LOVED the sharks, mine and Jason's favorite I think were the Japanese Crabs..they were huge! Little Kyle just slept the couple hours! After that we went to the mall next to it, it was pretty neat as well! There were people that danced,sang,clowns that made balloons and a girl on stilts that made balloon things as well!

All in all it was a really nice time and a good thing to do since it was freezing outside.

Almost Kindergarden Time

Whew the day is getting closer and closer! Next week is registration time and today Kaylee had her physical and booster vaccines.
Her physical went great and she is growing like crazy...I can't believe soon my baby girl will be in "actual" school!

At 5yrs old she is 45 inches tall and 41.4lbs - tall and slim just like her mommy was! She is and has met all milestones...her future plans is becoming a animal rescuer...so funny! I wonder if thats what she'll pursue!
The second part of the appt wasn't so sweet and pleasant! Kaylee was due for 3 booster vaccines...it was horrible! I felt awful for her and as a mommy! She cried and just yelled "mommy no, I don't want one" Thankfully it was over quickly and we were out of there! For rest of the day she got about anything she wanted!

So next is registering at Hinkle Creek Elementary, which starts Feb 21st! I'll probably wait until Friday though so she can go with me and see the school!

Eagle watching

Saturday we got up and decided to take a road trip! Kaylee and Kyle first eagle viewing trip. And my goodness was Kaylee so awesome and cute!
Our trip was to Salmonella damn to hopefully see some eagles! It was only an hour drive and so worth it. Kaylee was so excited! When we first got there Jason and I didn't see anything but then all of a sudden Kaylee said "there's one...right there" right in front of us...flying down the damn was a beautiful mature eagle! After that we saw several...and was able to see a nest which was huge! After a few hours of watching and driving around to see the sites we ate a little dinner and then headed home! We had a great time and will definitly be going back...it really is a beautiful area and we loved to go back and walk some trails in the park!

WOW 2 month old

Sweet Boy Kyle is 2 months old already!
He is so wonderful and sweet! He loves to snuggle up to mommy's chest and the other day I finally got a giggle and grin together...such an awesome feeling!

He is eating every 3hrs still and 3-4oz...he is very consist on eating, he loves to! He sleeps pretty well at night and is getting less noisy each week!
He still has the reflux so is still getting meds and rice to help!
