For the past week or so Kyle has been singing his ABC's....SOOOO beyond cute
He sort of hums some...says efg...and then lmnop he hums fast just like how we sing it! I'm trying so hard to record him but the lil stinker stops when I try! hahaha
He wakes up every morning singing!
Also for about a month now has been singing(ok humming) Twinkle twinkle little star!
With this one he hums all but "up above" Yep its soooo cute too!
He's really coming into toddlerhood these days...Love it what a super fun age!

Happy 18 months Lil' Man
18 Months old already...wow! What an awesome lil' boy you are too!
We got this awesome toy for Kyle and sissy to play on and they both love it! He climbs on everything or at least tries to climb it!
Kyle's favorite is to play outside and of course balls still. He LOVE LOVES to go outside! Favorite toys would be cars,trucks,balls and basketball still! He likes to swing and go down slides! Daddy has taken him on a couple bike rides in the trailer and he likes that...at first he cried but now enjoys it!
He chabbers all the time! Still not saying many words but has lots to says! hahaha
Dada, mama, dog, ball..ball being his favorite word the past several weeks! He's waving all the time now, gets his grove on to music is just a silly little boy!
Sleeping has been great for a few months now again! He's a early riser like 6am early but so are we! :) We are able to just lay him down at 8:15-8:30pm, he'll roll around a little but then goes right to sleep...and sleeps ALL night! His naps are a little hit and miss but he still takes them just no real time frame! Still two naps a day...a short one and one that's about 1-2hrs. I think if he's sleep later we could definitely drop a am one and just have a pm one! All in all good sleep with lil guy! :)
The boy eats and eats usually! He likes about anything you give him. We gave him a spoon the past couple days and he's done great trying to use it! Downside is Kyle loves to toss his food and a spoon helps him fling it...wild guy! hahaha
The other evening at Texas Roadhouse he even ate a little salad with me! He loves fruit, most veggies, chicken, hotdogs, spagetti, ravioli, oatmeal, cereal and on and on! Couple things he's not so fond of is hamburger and cottage cheese! I'm sure in time he'll like those two as well though!
It also looks like he is getting a couple more teeth(Canines I believe)Hopefully they come in with some ease!

Lil Guy BIG temper
Our boy might be little but let me tell ya the temper he has and the fits he throws! hahaha They are BIG!
At 16months Kyle is doing great, growing a bit(HAHAHA)physically but in all other ways he's just exploding with growth!
His temper for one is huge, its so funny to watch him get mad, scream really high and toss whatever may be making him mad! Sometimes us but usually its a toy not doing what he wants it to do! :) Here is a look at him today mad!
He is climbing on everything his little legs can get him on.....he is now climbing up the rockwall steps on the playset all by himself and going down the slide....he LOVES it and is so proud of himself! He loves basketball and just being outside all together!
He loves to eat...oatmeal,pancakes,toast,cereal,hotdogs,chicken,ravioli,broccoli,peas,peaches,pears,banana,apple...and the list goes on and on....his all time favorite though would have to be greenbeans, he'll eat those over anything and lots of them!
He is sleeping great again just a 6am early bird...but he'll play in bed for a while before we get him up!

Baby to Toddler
Kyle is 13 months old now.....another month flew by!
He is slowly becoming more of a toddler than baby, so amazing to watch! A little bittersweet still though slowly getting away from all the baby stuff...bottles, bouncy seats, toys ect! It all happens so quick...one day he's all baby and the next its like he just magically turned to a little big boy in ways! He's still a lil guy at 27.5in and 19lbs(by our scale..woohoo) He's little but with a big personality!
He throws fits now, hits his head on things or throws himself back....not hard though thankfully! Its quite amusing for us to watch, his face is priceless.....he really thinks he's making a point! hehehe
He now only gets 2 bottles a day...in the morning and bedtime(I haven't a clue when we'll drop this one though!) Rest of the day he gets his sippy! He's been off formula since maybe the second week of Dec so shortly after his 1st birthday! Again we slowly added whole milk and less and less formula...he did great and loves milky just like sissy did! And again just like sis he isn't fond of juice so its water or milk to drink! Edited - 1/17 daddy switched his morning bottle to a sippy...he was a bit mad at first but took it and we haven't went back! The next couple mornings he was still a little mad about a sippy but there is no going back now! So we are down to just a bed time bottle!
He eats about anything now! We still get some baby food mostly just for a take and go meal if needed! We'll chop up meats and veggies for him and he eats it up! He loves variety and doesn't want to eat just one thing in a meal. He loves oatmeal with fruit in it for breakfast and again we have to mix up what we flavor the oatmeal with or he gets bored and won't eat! hahaha He eats all three meals and probably 3-4 snacks like a champ....he likes to eat!
Sleep thankfully has gotten better! Since October we've been struggling....between learning to crawl, teething and being sick it just threw his body off! But since the 1st of Dec our lil man has slept better and better! Past couple weeks he has his bottle around 8:30, one of us rock him for a few and then tuck him in...He'll wake up between 5:30a-6:30a the next morning! Yes its early but hey it ALL night sleep, we are early birds anyway! Maybe our next step will be sleeping a bit later!
Learning is still the same really! He's not walking yet but that's totally ok with us! He is letting go of things and getting his balance and learning to climb on things. He jabbers all the time, laughs, smile and is just all around happy! He is only cranky when sleepy or hungry! We are still trying to get him to say sissy or sis sis anything for sissy, she can't wait for him to say it! He know what a dog is, he'll go to one of the dogs and say dog dog..so cute!
Edited - Over this past week 14-19th Kyle has taken more and more steps! When he's not super excited he can take several steps and sometimes he'll even just go on his own! Pretty sure within in the week or so we'll have a walker!

KYLE'S ONE..Happy Birthday our Miracle
Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet boy!!
Today is the day..... our baby's first birthday! One year ago at 10:05am we were given our second miracle and our dream came true...a baby boy!
A year has flown by..its been an amazing year of watching our baby grow and learn! All the giggles, crying, sleepless nights, all the firsts of a baby's life, our baby boy...what a gift to experience!
Born at 4lbs 12oz & 17 1/2in Kyle is now 17.7lbs & 27 1/4in...still a lil guy but you'd never know it! He has curly blondish hair, hazel eyes(we think), 6 teeth and just the cutest lil boy!
He is crawling like crazy, jabbering all the time, pulling up on and climbing everything. He loves the stairs which he learned to go down here recently. He is starting to try out balances now and loves to walk with the walk behind toys and loves cruising around everything he can pull up on! He is saying Mama and Dada and we think baba(for bottle) He's very happy, always smiling and laughing..a lil flirt when we're out and about and has no fear of strangers! His favorite person...Big SIS of course! He loves her to pieces, smiles instantly when he sees her or when we say "where's sissy"! Seeing them together is the most amazing sight, listening to them laugh is the best!
He is eating like crazy...loves Big Boy foods and soon we will be stopping formula and going to milk, a little nervous about that as we've tried milk a couple times and he didn't like!
Sleep is a whole other thing with our lil man! Since starting to crawl at 9mon, then getting a couple more teeth and then getting sick he is way off on sleeping! Some nights he's up 2 times, others just 1 and every now and again sleeps through till 5-6a! We'll get it though...he sure is cute even at 1,4,6a!

Happy 11 months
Our baby boy is 11 months old today....hard to believe he's one month from for a whole YEAR old!
Kyle is now climbing the stairs, cruising everything and LOVING it! We try to put items in front of the stairs but he has found he can just climb over and up the stairs he goes! He's found the cabinets..opens and closes them over and over, pots and pans..loves the noise he can make and thinks the lamp and night light are pretty neat...he will not leave them alone!
He is saying moma all the time now, dada and baba(a few times)
Sleep hasn't been a must for our little man lately. He's been getting up 1-2 a night and must have a bottle to calm his down! Maybe its teething again or just randomness for him! He's also been sick and uncomfortable....poor baby!
October 29th he got his first fever! Started around 102 and by the next morning it has spiked to 104...scary. Thankfully giving him bathes and meds brought it down! Finally after about 3-4 days his fever broke! Guessing it much have been a viral thing!
Eating...he loves! Sort of a snackin eater with his bottle...drinks a little and finishes it within the hour! He drinking 6oz every 4hr...give or take! He loves big boy foods now and wants anything we have! I've been baking sweet taters for him and adding cinnamon, oatmeal with applesauce w/cinn, baked chicken, spaghetti....and so on! Pretty much whatever we have we just modify for him and he LOVES!
Time to start trying milk he soon and work of drinking out of his sippy more!

Happy 10 Months
Wow our little man is 10 months old today.....and quite the little guy he is!
Kyle is quite the little funny guy, loves to be scared and gets a kick out of it! He adores his sister more and more every day..his face just lights up when she gets home or when he sees her after waking up. We love his smile and that cute laugh..my goodness what a feeling it gives your heart! I love when he gets really sleepy now he'll lay his head on our shoulder. And the look he gives when told "no" is funny...he just looks like "really you won't stop me" and "look how cute I am"
Wow the milestones that Kyle hit the past month...he's been a busy boy.
He's crawling, sitting himself up, pulling up on everything, standing in his crib, eating some big boy foods and what a head full of cute hair he has!!
Food - 6oz every 3-4hrs still..most 3hrs! He likes oatmeal with applesauce, stage 3 baby food and still some 2's! He loves graham crackers,baby cookies and cheerios! He is quite the wild eater though....its quite a task to hold him and feed him his bottle...he's wild! hahaha
Sleep - He is sleeping pretty good! Some nights are quite off but we have made lots of progress! However now when he gets up we let him cry and calm himself...and he does!

And he's CRAWLING
WOW....Our baby boy is crawling! My goodness is it cute. Now he's not crawling across the room yet but he can go a few feet before he stops and just rolls over!!!
We knew he was close and had been for a few weeks now!
Mamaw, Kyle and I drove to brown county to pick up Grandma Hunley. Shortly after we got there we put Kyle on the floor to play....grandma had a little book that he wanted...so grandma put it down and Kyle went for it...HE CRAWLED!! I was also in tears it was so cute! I didn't catch his first time on video but I did catch the second go at it, thankfully I had the camera to record!

Happy 9 months
WOW over the past month Kyle has just exploded with new fun!
He is sitting up great now and so close to getting himself to sitting position.
For the past week or so he's been trying to crawl..its so cute but right now he's just pushing himself backwards. He did learn just a day ago he could pull himself forward a bit to get what he wants. Speaking of getting what he wants...he is all over the place rolling now...on second he'll be right in front of us and the next we are looking for him..he'll be across the room!
His two top teeth have finally broke through a bit also...can't wait till they are all the way in.
Big milestone today...he started saying dadadada sooooo cute! He's jabbering so much and loves to yell/squeal! He will mock us if we go "aaaaaaaaa" he'll repeat with a yell/squeal..its so funny when he gets all fired up.
Food....he's eating good again! Since his surgery in July its been rough going! But I think we've turned a corner finally...those two little top teeth we believe have been the culprit to eating and sleeping! He is drinking 5-6oz bottles about every 4hrs..so 25-32 oz. We are also getting back to some baby food..and trying to feed him when we have meals! We've been giving him finger foods for a few days now...he loves it! Graham crackers,animals cookies and those baby biscuit things! Also cheerios which we just tried yesterday for breakfast and he loved it...daddy soaked them in milk and let him practice picking them up and eating them! We'll give him mashed taters and foods that we can mash or that are soft for him!
Sleeping...huh that's been a crazy one! Again since July sleep has been crazy...its been like he's a newborn again! Up sometimes every couple hours and then he got to where he'd get up and then just want to play at 2am! We were feeding him each time he'd get up since that's all that would calm him! Finally last week we couldn't do it anymore and let him cry it out....he's old enough to be sleeping and we know he needs to sleep and learn to soothe himself to sleep. Thankfully it wasn't that bad and he's sleeping pretty good this weekend...hopefully it will continue!
Our little guy is so sweet...he loves his sissy and just smiles when he sees her! He loves to watch the dogs and cat still too! Loves to play peak a boo, be scared a little and to watch cartoons! Its so amazing watching him grow, see his funny personality and see how much of a firecracker he can be.

Kyle's 1st finger food...yummy
Tonight we tried out a graham cracker and he LOVED it!! Then we tried an animal cracker, he liked it but definitely liked graham crackers more! So exciting to see him loving it!
Can't wait till he is eating more foods! Tomorrow he is 9mons old!

1st Day of Kindergarten...Our baby girl
Well the day is here and the emotions are so high!
Its just crazy how sad I feel that my baby girl is off to Kindergarten....just a bittersweet day! I know deep down how wonderful this milestone is, the memories are just beginning, all the friends she is going to make and ALL she is going to learn....all starting today!
We met Mrs.Freeman Monday at icecream social....Kaylee liked her and thought her room was pretty neat!
So here's to our baby girl's first day...here is our Kindergartener
9am Kaylee and I got to class...it was crazy but Kaylee did great! First Kaylee set at her desk, drew a picture...a rainbow and a person!! Then we did a couple crafts together...hand prints and name hat! Filled out her bus card(for when she rides) and took a 1st day of school pic for the teacher! After all that it was time for a story and then good byes!
I was already crying but did my best to hide it during story time! Kaylee was all good until it was time...she told me she was going to miss me and just wouldn't let go.....this was the hardest moment for me...I didn't want to let go either! We set at her desk and talk with Owen...he sets next to her and shares a cubby with her. That at least helped me calm down and not cry for a moment so I could comfort my baby! And with that I had to give my last kiss, I'll miss you but see you very soon and out I ran in tears! Thankfully the principle was right next to Kaylee talking with her as I made my escape!
3:10pm came and I took off to get in line for pickup..I was so excited to see how her day was and to just get her! After forever she hopped in the car with a smile! She was so tired but said she had a good day....awwww some relieve! She talked about lunch and how big it was and loud! Said she made friends with Owen, how there was three playgrounds and even saw Jared in the hall! During dinner she was telling us how you had to be quiet in the hall..blah blah blah as she said! hahaha We loved listening to her....so cute what her prospective was of all of it!
We are so proud of you Kaylee.....LOVE YOU SOOOOO much sweet girl!

Happy 8 months
8 months have just flown by!
Kyle now has 2 teeth on bottom, is rolling everywhere, is sitting up and loves trying to get his feet in his mouth! He smiles all the time and is just a happy little guy! His laugh is just contagious...along with his beautiful smile. He is able to get himself up on all fours and is even rocking a little when up!! He finds the dogs,cat and especially sissy super funny!
His sleeping is not so great since surgery but we'll get there again! Eating is also off since surgery but I think once we get the 2 night time bottles gone he'll eat during the day better again! :) He still loves baby food but not so fond of table food yet! We've tried a couple things and he's just gag due to the texture! In time though!! Anytime we eat or have something to drink though he opens his mouth and just lunges for it...so funny to watch him! He's now drinking only 5oz every 3-4hrs and sometimes he'll go longer....very up in the air right now...we just follow his lead! Spitting out his milk seems to be a favorite thing to do these days, along with hitting his bottle as he eats!!
He's quite the amazing baby boy, so funny and sweet!

Happy 7 Months
7 Months...goodness is time flying by! Its amazing that its July already and our baby is now over a half year old! Kyle is doing so wonderful! He's just the sweetest little guy and has the sweetest smile!
He got his first tooth last month and a second is not too far. He is rolling around more now, trying to hold his bottle, loves to play with his paci and just be goofy. He likes tags on things and loves to put his burp cloth or a cover toy thing over his face....so funny when he does that! He just laughs, gets excited and kicks like crazy! He loves to just move...the boy wiggles all the time. He finds his sister and our animals to be very funny...laughs when the dogs/cat play or just walk past him....and right when he see's his sissy he just smiles! And just like his sis he LOVES his mamaw...just lights up when he hears or sees her.
Sleeping has not been his favorite...thank you teething. The last month has been rough..he's sort of went backwards. Going to bed than getting up several times and sometimes just a few times...just never know! We've had to try the cry it out approach, sometimes he'll just cry for a few and back to sleepy...others not so easy. We are making progress though, he's been sleeping longer stretches again the past week or so.
Food...He LOVES! He loves baby food...greens not so much but will eat them mixed with something else...banana's still an ick for him! hahaha He loves his bottle and normally drinks 6oz every 3-4hrs. In the middle of the night if we can't get him back to sleep he'll get 4oz and first thing in the morning about 4-5oz. He loves oatmeal with a fruit mixed with it and will even eat meats mixed with something as well!
We love you SOOOO much Kyle, you are such an amazing little boy and we thank god everyday for you!

Sippy Time
Kyle has been interested in everything we all have lately! He knows his bottle, food and sissy's sippy cup! He was very determined to get Kaylee's sippy the other morning so I just went and got his cup! I wasn't so sure he'd like it or even be interested but he was and even drank some water out of it! He's off to a good start with it! And boy is it cute!

Happy 6 months
Wow...our baby boy is half a year old! 6 months has flown by but been so wonderful.
Kyle is such a wonderful baby boy...happy, giggly and smiling all the time! He loves to play on his floor play gym, sit in his high chair and of course watch a lil cartoons with sissy! He loves watching the dogs and cat play and adores his big sis! He is still sleeping in the cradle but hopefully in a week or so he'll be in his crib...we tried one night but it was a bad night to try! LOL
Speaking of sleeping, he's great! He goes to bed around 9-9:30 after his bottle and will sleep 6,7 and even 8 hours before waking! We've been a little off the past week with our trip and he is teething but he's still sleeping great!
Eating lately has been a little off as well but he still loves his bottle! Sometimes he'll take a full 6oz every 4hrs but others he'll just eat a few oz and let the rest run down his mouth..little stinker.....but he gets around 25-30oz a day! We just follow his lead, he knows what he wants! As for baby food he likes it...pears,sweet taters,carrots,prunes,peaches,apples and sometimes bananas(definitely not a fav) I haven't tried meats or green veggies yet!
The fun stuff....he's rolling sometimes, like to sit up on the couch and loves the outside swing! He likes to grap his toys and transfer them hand to hand...his expression is so funny...like wow did you see that! Just yesterday I started practicing having his sit up by himself..he did pretty good and stayed up for a few seconds but liked it! He still not so fond of tummy time and gets quite mad when he rolls on his belly and can't get back over! He's can squirm around on the floor now and uses he feet to pushed himself! He loved to squeal and grunt...he found his voice a few weeks ago and loved it!

Rolling Rolling Rolling
Kyle rolled over this morning for the first time from back to belly...first time at least that he meant too!
