Meet Jake

Today we got a new puppy...we miss our Max and Emit so much and needed that furry friend again!
So meet Jake....he's so cute!! Jake was born April 29, 2014 and is almost 9wks old.

Newport Aquarium

Our first trip to the Newport Aquarium was pretty neat! Its about a 2.5hr drive but the kids did great! We stopped at Crackle Barrel for Kaylee's favorite breakfast...Mamma's Pancake breakfast...the girl LOVES them and bacon!
The Aquarium was pretty nice, not very big though! There were some pretty neat fish and Kaylee LOVED the sharks, mine and Jason's favorite I think were the Japanese Crabs..they were huge! Little Kyle just slept the couple hours! After that we went to the mall next to it, it was pretty neat as well! There were people that danced,sang,clowns that made balloons and a girl on stilts that made balloon things as well!

All in all it was a really nice time and a good thing to do since it was freezing outside.

Eagle watching

Saturday we got up and decided to take a road trip! Kaylee and Kyle first eagle viewing trip. And my goodness was Kaylee so awesome and cute!
Our trip was to Salmonella damn to hopefully see some eagles! It was only an hour drive and so worth it. Kaylee was so excited! When we first got there Jason and I didn't see anything but then all of a sudden Kaylee said "there's one...right there" right in front of us...flying down the damn was a beautiful mature eagle! After that we saw several...and was able to see a nest which was huge! After a few hours of watching and driving around to see the sites we ate a little dinner and then headed home! We had a great time and will definitly be going back...it really is a beautiful area and we loved to go back and walk some trails in the park!
