Kyle's febrile seizure

Last night J thought Kyle felt warm but we didn't think much about it..he had played all day and been his funny wild self.
This morning I knew he was sick because he slept past 6:30a! I peeked in on him at 7:30 and he was still out but ok! 8am came around and he woke up crying again not normal for him....as I picked him up he was on fire! Took his fever almost 103 so I gave him Tylenol and he rested! Nana came over to watch the kids while I went to the dr myself. I got home around 11:30a...nana said he was acting good and even played a bit! After she left he seemed sleepy so I started rocking him...he dose off and then twitch really hard he done this several time, I noticed that he seemed really hot all of a sudden...took his temp again and it was almost 104! I got super scared and went to get him in the bathe and call daddy! As I was going upstairs I tried to get him to look at me and talk to me, he couldn't! He just looked backwards and then started getting stiff from here it went even worse, he got stiff and arched his body....I call 911...He was having a Febrile Seizure. I panicked as I talked to the 911 dispatcher...Kyle started to not breath as well...the guy told me to lay him down and tilt his head and listen to his breathing..he was breathing but weirdly! It seemed like forever but the parametics got here in minutes and took care of our baby boy! Thankfully Jason wasn't too far behind either. They but a breathing mask on him and had to give him valum to stop the seizure. It was so horrible for the poor baby, it last several minutes...he was stiff, all curled up and totally out of it! They transported him to the hospital and we followed in the car. There they checked him over and took his fever it was 105, they gave boths meds to get it down and hooked him up to monitors and then just let him sleep. Over a couple hours his fever finally started breaking, the poor baby was soaked in sweat as it broke! After about 5hrs, the fever went down and the valum wore off he woke up, talked to us and was able to walk enough to come home!

He was so sweet, told daddy he loved him so much as daddy talked to him! He was singing Paw Patrol in the ambulance and hospital while having such a high fever. Even being so sick the lil man finds a way to make us smile when we are so worried!
O how I love this lil boy and the thought of something happening to him is unthinkable! Our lives are so wonderful, happy, perfect and complete with these sweet kids...times like this just make you wake up even more and see what's the most important!
These two babies are our lives, our life line our EVERYTHING.

And let me say how wonderful our lil girl is and great big sis! She was so very worried and upset but still held it together and helped me and bubby! As I was on the phone with 911, I ask her to make other calls for me...she did great! She called her daddy right away and told him he needed to come home fast that bubby was really sick and mommy called 911....as she talked to daddy the ambulance got here, she open the door and led them in to her bubby. She then called her Mamaw and papaw....she was so beyond WONDERFUL and did PERFECT!

O how fun he is

Random fun moments of Kyle...he is so funny, sweet, rotten and loving! Learning so much and just has a awesome personality.....never a dull moment!!

Touch a Truck

Heaven for Kyle today....he got to Touch and sit in all his favorite trucks.
He was so excited that he was a bit overwhelmed I think...couldn't keep up with all he wanted to do! hahaha

He had so much fun and it was so neat to watch his excitement!

Lil' Helper

Papaw Joe came over tonight to be that awesome Mr Fix it! HEHEHE Kyle decided he was going to help Papaw and Daddy too! Super Cute

Happy 2nd Birthday Kyle

Happy 2nd Birthday to our sweet, handsome, funny, spunky and O so wonderful little boy!

Caution....its a Birthday Party

Today we had Kyle's 2nd birthday party with family and friends!
Its was a wonderful day and Kyle had a great time! We did a construction theme since Lil Man loves tractor, trucks and cars! Everything turned out super cute! Tomorrow is his birthday and its so hard to believe he is two already...he is such an amazing little boy!

And finally Kyle is talking lots! YAAY Its so exciting hearing his lil voice!!
Over the past few weeks now Kyle vocab has just exploded!

Time to finger paint

I thought it would be fun to try out finger paint with Kyle today finally! So cute but Kyle wasn't so fond of the paint on his hands! hahaha He did make a nice painting!

Poor baby is sick again...but O so cute

Yep eating on the couch is ok when your sick....ok probably all the time! LOL
Kyle spiked another fever and fighting another sickness! He was just sick July 13th and ran a 102 fever and felt awful!
On the 4th he woke from nap with a 101 fever and it just keep going up! Hoping it ends soon! Poor baby boy

Happy 18 months Lil' Man

18 Months old already...wow! What an awesome lil' boy you are too!



We got this awesome toy for Kyle and sissy to play on and they both love it! He climbs on everything or at least tries to climb it!

Kyle's favorite is to play outside and of course balls still. He LOVE LOVES to go outside! Favorite toys would be cars,trucks,balls and basketball still! He likes to swing and go down slides! Daddy has taken him on a couple bike rides in the trailer and he likes that...at first he cried but now enjoys it!
He chabbers all the time! Still not saying many words but has lots to says! hahaha
Dada, mama, dog, ball..ball being his favorite word the past several weeks! He's waving all the time now, gets his grove on to music is just a silly little boy!

Sleeping has been great for a few months now again! He's a early riser like 6am early but so are we! :) We are able to just lay him down at 8:15-8:30pm, he'll roll around a little but then goes right to sleep...and sleeps ALL night! His naps are a little hit and miss but he still takes them just no real time frame! Still two naps a day...a short one and one that's about 1-2hrs. I think if he's sleep later we could definitely drop a am one and just have a pm one! All in all good sleep with lil guy! :)

The boy eats and eats usually! He likes about anything you give him. We gave him a spoon the past couple days and he's done great trying to use it! Downside is Kyle loves to toss his food and a spoon helps him fling it...wild guy! hahaha
The other evening at Texas Roadhouse he even ate a little salad with me! He loves fruit, most veggies, chicken, hotdogs, spagetti, ravioli, oatmeal, cereal and on and on! Couple things he's not so fond of is hamburger and cottage cheese! I'm sure in time he'll like those two as well though!

It also looks like he is getting a couple more teeth(Canines I believe)Hopefully they come in with some ease!

Kyle's First haircut

Today Aunt Ceca trimmed up Kyle's hair for the first time! We've been waiting and waiting for this, he has the cutest curls and we didn't want them to go! However his hair is getting crazy somedays and we knew eventually we'd have to anyway! So Ceca reluctantly cut it...but she only trimmed it up a little so he still has some curls especially on humid days! :) YAAY He did pretty well for being sleepy and boy does he look cute!

Lil Guy BIG temper

Our boy might be little but let me tell ya the temper he has and the fits he throws! hahaha They are BIG!
At 16months Kyle is doing great, growing a bit(HAHAHA)physically but in all other ways he's just exploding with growth!


His temper for one is huge, its so funny to watch him get mad, scream really high and toss whatever may be making him mad! Sometimes us but usually its a toy not doing what he wants it to do! :) Here is a look at him today mad!


He is climbing on everything his little legs can get him on.....he is now climbing up the rockwall steps on the playset all by himself and going down the slide....he LOVES it and is so proud of himself! He loves basketball and just being outside all together!


He loves to eat...oatmeal,pancakes,toast,cereal,hotdogs,chicken,ravioli,broccoli,peas,peaches,pears,banana,apple...and the list goes on and on....his all time favorite though would have to be greenbeans, he'll eat those over anything and lots of them!
He is sleeping great again just a 6am early bird...but he'll play in bed for a while before we get him up!

He's getting so big too quick....its so amazing to watch!
