Turkey Run
We had a great time today! Jake did awesome and as always these two cuties were great and had a blast!

Turkey Run Fun
Our favorite place...the kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the creek trail and walking the cannon! Kyle really liked it this year and walked almost all of it instead of sitting in the backpack carrier! Kaylee found her a salamador to bring home as well...we'll see how this goes!

Kings Island
Our first Kings Island trip as parents went GREAT!
We've waited to take Kaylee until she could ride the fun rides and this year she was tall enough for most of them! Kyle was able to ride a couple cute rides with us as well! Mamaw even went with us and had a blast too! We got there about 10:30am and didn't leave until 7:30pm or so.....a long hot but fun day!
First Kaylee and daddy rode the helicopters ride...Kyle and mamaw did the carousal...I took pics! Then me,daddy and Kaylee rode our first roller coaster the Beastie! She was nervous as we waited but once we got up there she was excited! Up we went and then down we went and attached to my arm she became! She was scared, teared up a bit but I did manage to get a couple smiles from her! She was a bit mad at us after the ride but livened back up after a bit! We rode several more rides in Snoopy Land and then we off to the big rides...but the lines we're sooo long so we skipped them!
Kaylee has been asked for a year or so to go to Dinosaur's Alive and finally she got to. She LOVED it!! There were about 60 dino's the moved and roared, a little place she could dig for bones and lots to just look at!
After Dino land we had some lunch and off to Soak City to cool off! Mamaw and Kyle soaked in a little pool while daddy, Kaylee and I went off to play! Kaylee went down a couple water slides, then we found the wave pools and she liked those more! Mawmaw and Kyle joined us at the wave pools until one was closed for some reason! So we went to the lazy river and went around it a couple time....Kaylee love it! Kyle loved playing in the water and just being wet!
We all had a great time!

Newport Aquarium
Our first trip to the Newport Aquarium was pretty neat! Its about a 2.5hr drive but the kids did great! We stopped at Crackle Barrel for Kaylee's favorite breakfast...Mamma's Pancake breakfast...the girl LOVES them and bacon!
The Aquarium was pretty nice, not very big though! There were some pretty neat fish and Kaylee LOVED the sharks, mine and Jason's favorite I think were the Japanese Crabs..they were huge! Little Kyle just slept the couple hours! After that we went to the mall next to it, it was pretty neat as well! There were people that danced,sang,clowns that made balloons and a girl on stilts that made balloon things as well!
All in all it was a really nice time and a good thing to do since it was freezing outside.

Eagle watching
Saturday we got up and decided to take a road trip! Kaylee and Kyle first eagle viewing trip. And my goodness was Kaylee so awesome and cute!
Our trip was to Salmonella damn to hopefully see some eagles! It was only an hour drive and so worth it. Kaylee was so excited! When we first got there Jason and I didn't see anything but then all of a sudden Kaylee said "there's one...right there" right in front of us...flying down the damn was a beautiful mature eagle! After that we saw several...and was able to see a nest which was huge! After a few hours of watching and driving around to see the sites we ate a little dinner and then headed home! We had a great time and will definitly be going back...it really is a beautiful area and we loved to go back and walk some trails in the park!

Carribean Cove 2012!
Today we decided to head off to the Holiday Inn to Caribbean Cove indoor water park!
We had a blast! This time Kaylee was able to go do the tube slide by herself...she LOVED it! She also loved the hot tub and just running around being chased in the water! It was a freezing day out so perfect to spend the day inside swimming!
Kyle had he first little dip in the pool too but he didn't like it so much! hahaha Maybe next time when he's a bit older!
