Wonderful dinner for parents followed by a great night of chatting and karaoke! Love this family...we have such a great group of friends these days! Loving it!

Tooth Fairy time

Right when we got to Chicago he pulled his tooth🤣. Finally after well over a month of being loose...within a few day his other one wil be out too! He should have wish for his 2 front teeth😁😘. Right when we pulled in the the parking Kyle said my tooth hurts..I said you should pull it out and it won't hurt, so he said ok and pulled it out! hahaha He looked soooo dang cute....Top front tooth gone! That makes 2 teeth out for him and the other one is close very close!

We came to the Field Museum and The Science and Industry Museum again! Loved both of them
Field Museum had Sue the TRex exhibit and it was so cool! Lots of neat things here to read and look at! It was neat to see the Science museum decorated for Christmas...there were christmas trees decorated for each country! And of course like last time it was just as neat!

Poor Kyle...Strep again!

Our boy’s first sick day of 1st grade
But on the couch all day so I brought him outside to snuggle with a little bit of sunshine!



We went to Holiday World Saturday and he started feeling bad right away...we thought just a lil bug it'll pass! By evening he spiked a fever of 102.5! Still not feeling good Sunday so Monday he stayed home and went to the doc! They did a strep test...it was neg! So fever was gone and no strep so I sent him to school Tue...got a call and the extended strep test came back neg! He felt ok tuesday but still wasn't eating much and throat hurt still! So today the nurse calls to say the last strep test came back and it was positive! UGH....no wonder the poor boy has felt so bad and now I feel horrible for sending him to school and pretty much making him eat..bad mommy!

Baby to a Beautiful Young lady......our baby is 12

Happy Happy Happy 12th Birthday to our Beautiful, smart, funny, loving, sassy, spunky, amazing,nature,reptile loving and so very special little girl.....we love the little girl she is and has grown to be! What a blessing she is and what a way she has totally completed our lives and brought absolute happiness and love to us! She is a miracle and we thank god every day to have been blessed with such a precious gift! Time has flown by but these 12yrs have been the most amazing, happy and heart filling years of our lives! I always knew that we'd teach her about life/experiences but never did I expect becoming a mommy years ago that our kids would in fact teach us and open us up to things we'd never have done with out them! What an amazing journey the past 12yrs have been!! We are so very excited to see what this young lady has in store....and the GREAT places she'll go!

What a great 5th grade field day/cook! The best way to celebrate these great kids and bring their elementary years to a close😘❤️😢 i have loved being a part of watching them grow...wow have they! So glad i have 2 more kids to get through Hinkle Creek!

And ending my afternoon with my girl and her friends at lunch.....love these kids!! Excited to see where these awesome 5th go into the future...i have loved being part of k-5th grade!

Had an absolute amazingly fun day...both kids LOVED it sooo much! The coasters were a huge hit....can't wait to go back again!

Our town changed forever

Today our community was rocked to its core and forever changed! This morning a 13yr old boy took 2 guns to school.....he waited till class start at West Middle School ask to be excused, came back in class and started shooting! THank god the teacher was able to stop him but not before being shot 3x and another young lady shot 7x! Today was such a surreal day! Our babies were not in that school Thank heavens but it shook us to the core....the feelings were awful! I can't imagine what the parents and those kids went through today! My heart goes out to them.....Our community sense of safety is gone...so many feeling from sadness to angry! Kaylee goes to this school in just a couple months...she's a bit nervous but thankfully not scared! She said "you said this would never happen here" My heart sank because I truly felt strong it never would....We told her as parents you always hold on to the thought this kind of tragedy never would and that she will always be safe! As I rushed to the school to pick them up after receiving the calls,emails and text of SHOTS FIRED....I cried because this was far far to close to my babies...I'd never felt that sense of violation...this boy changed our entire school system, our communities feeling of being safe place, brought our small town together in the blink of an eye as well....though this is not how we'd like it to happen! We have just a week of school left and its going to be a hard last week for sooooo many.....I pray for all the kids at West...I pray for emotional and physical healing! I thank our towns hero Mr Seaman for stoping this boy from cause anymore devastation .......I pray for Ella...as of now we are not certain of her injuries or how she is doing!

We are now NOBLESVILLE STRONG and will come out of this STRONG as can be!

Happy Mother's day....I"m so blessed!

I had the most amazing day....this day wasn't totally about me as a mom because without my mom,husband and 5 kids I wouldn't be able to celebrate this special day...I would be a mommy...So I thank them for making this day! So today we chilled....finished painting,hung out,played and ended the day fishing for the first round this season! Being a mom is them most special amazing hard at times but MOST rewarding thing I'll ever experience! I'm so very blessed!

With the remaining money from Girl Scout cookies this year Kaylee and her troop went shopping and donated much needed item to the humane society.
We bought from the wish list and had a good time....we dropped it off with lots of excitement!

Nearing the end of the Mara device and all the phases that have happened!😁 Braces will be the only focus after!! June 11th the bars come out and July 9th rest of it...I'm so proud of our girl...this device caused her so much pain at first but has been amazing, the movement of her mouth amazing and SHE saw the big picture at the end and tough it out! Love her to the moon and back a billion times over

BizTown......

JA Biztown.....this was such a neat experience for me...but more so these awesome kids! It was very cool to watch them run a mock town...from banking, utility company,radio station,printing company and all..they did amazing!
It was fast pace and non stop but the kids were awesome and stayed on task like pro's....I love volunteering..love getting to experience all this with my girl!

First Easter Egg Hunt 2018....

Today was the 4H egg hunt or run really! haha It was so cold and windy but Kylie didn't care a bit...she loved it,her first time was so much fun for her! Kyle wasn't feeling the best but had fun and Kaylee for the first time in 11yrs didn't do it! She one was so old(so they say..not true) but also she was ready to just help her bub and sis instead! Its a bit bittersweet but love watching her with the lils too!

Girls night....Movie time

Tonight was a girls movie night....Myself,Kaylee,Kimberly,her mom,Khiera and Emily all went to the Diana Theater in Tipton.....A Wrinkle in Time was amazing!
Loved spending time with the girls...the movie was great,funny,heartfelt,emotional but the over all message was Love&Believe in yourself.....being with my girl was awesome!
I'd never been to the famous Diana Theater but we will be going back...loved the small town feel and the price was pretty sweet! haha Definitely need to get to movies more often!

Lucky Me 2018

Tonight was Kaylee's last Lucky Me Dance as a elementary student BUT Kyle's first as a student! Both kids had alot of fun and danced and ran around like crazy!
Both kids found their friends right away and gone they were! Kylie stuck to daddy because she was scared of Lucky...while is was sad she was so scared it was super cute they way she showed it and hid in daddy's arm! Kyle danced with a few buddies while Kaylee danced with her girlfriends and us mom's a bit! Yes us parents have just as much fun as the kids! hahaha Toward the end Kylie got into the music (and after Lucky left) and oh my did she dance Oh so cute...she loved her first Lucky Dance as lil sis!
