Our boy’s first sick day of 1st grade
But on the couch all day so I brought him outside to snuggle with a little bit of sunshine!
We went to Holiday World Saturday and he started feeling bad right away...we thought just a lil bug it'll pass! By evening he spiked a fever of 102.5! Still not feeling good Sunday so Monday he stayed home and went to the doc! They did a strep test...it was neg! So fever was gone and no strep so I sent him to school Tue...got a call and the extended strep test came back neg! He felt ok tuesday but still wasn't eating much and throat hurt still! So today the nurse calls to say the last strep test came back and it was positive! UGH....no wonder the poor boy has felt so bad and now I feel horrible for sending him to school and pretty much making him eat..bad mommy!
