No more crib....Race Car bed!

At 4yrs old we finally took our sweet boy out of his crib and into a big boy bed! He's all revved up and jumping in to his Race Car bed!
He is so excited and us nervous! And my word does his room look so different....officially no more baby stuff in his room! He jumped right in it and was ready to go!
After we got it all ready for him, he laid in it and in the cutest little voice said "Thank You"!

Update!!!! First night-
Super proud of our lil man....he did great in his bed last night! Woke up at 5:50a to pee but actually went back to sleep till 7!
Love how each milestone with our kids have been good transitions and they don't mind them a bit!

Welcome to Braces.....

Today Kaylee started another phase in orthodontic fun! She now has brackets...not full braces but just a few top front brackets to help correct her two front teeth!
We talked this over with her before choosing to do it....it wasn't a must but something mentioned to Kaylee and I at her follow up appt after her expander was removed a few months ago! Once she heard having them would help bring her two front teeth back a little (a little sooner than having braces)she made up her mind that she wanted to do it now! So few that reason and the fact that doing this would help avoid possibly injury to her teeth we knew we needed to! So she did and was great....love her strength!!!

Step 1 was expander (4mon)
Step 2 a retainer (couple weeks)
Step 3 bracket no longer than a year
Step 4 is talk of an expander for bottom jaw but not for another year probably
Step 5 will be braces as of right now...but not until she's around 11 or so..whenever all her baby teeth are out!

So creative....simple fun

I LOVE how creative my kids can be.....yes they have games and electronics but they typically choose random toys and items to play with and be creative inside and outside! I call that a win in parenting...score one for us! LOL
How cute is he...play doe, cars and trucks...really whats more fun then that!
