Happy Thanksgiving 2016

As with every year we have so much to be thankful for....this year we added another precious lil one!

These three little ones are our blessings everyday!



We also had a wonderful afternoon and evening with family...lots of great laughs and food!!

Cougar Choir...1st performance!!

Today was Kaylee's first Cougar Choir performance....Caroling at the 4h!

Happy 5 months

Happy 5 months to our lil peanut! Over the past couple weeks Kylie has learned to roll both ways and got control of her arm and grasping things! We also tried rice cereal of which she wasn't' fond of!
We've had to unswaddle her due to rolling..then we had to move her out of the rockin play to her bassinet! Two big changes for her and us! From the bassinet we decided to by a mini crib for her as well, thought she need a lil more room! The crib is so cute and up in our room!
***As super cute as this rolling thing is...it has totally messed up sleeping! Kylie no longer sleeps through the night, she is super restless not being swaddled completely and trying to sleep with a wiggling baby in our room when I'm a super light sleeper has proved to be impossible! OH how we've totally took steps backward over the past week and half!
We are also pretty sure she has begin the process of teething...nothing shown yet though!




Birth - 4lb10oz & 161/2in
1month - 6.10lbs
2month - 8lbs and 19.5inchs
3month - 9.2lbs
4month - 10.3lbs and 22.5in
5months - 10.14lbs and 23in

The ickies hit Kylie...her first icky

Kylie got the stomach bug.....poor baby girl!
She had been spitting up starting in the morning a little, then by after noon she was puking entire bottles! I thought wow her reflux is really bad today, then she didn't seem interested in eating, this is not like her....she eats every 3hr or less sometimes! By 6pm she hadn't keep any of single bottle down....at about 8:30p she just started actually vomiting...what a very heartbreaking sight with a 5month old! By 9:00 we decided to just take her to the ER and make sure she wasn't getting dehydrated! She's only 5month anyway but add on that she a little peanut, she needs all the calories she wasn't taking! She and I went to the ER, she had no fever but was still vomiting! They hooked her up and all was good with vitals(She is smiling lots at the point) then they did a urine test to check for infection and hydration...thankfully no infection and she was good on fluids even with puking all day! They gave us some Pedialyt and home we went! Its crazy that such a lil gal can vomit, not eat, feel icky but still give that big sweet smile!
We got home daddy gave her a little pedialyt and then we got her to sleep....She slept all night and it still sleeping now at 7am! Thank goodness she keep a little fluids down and had no vomiting all night...hope today is better and she can handle a little bottle at some point!

And she is Bracket FREE

After almost a year Kaylee's brackets were removed today....So proud of her for adjusting to having them, choosing the proactive approach for her teeth and for taking good care of them all this time! All is looking great and now we wait for 6wks and see what the next step is!

First ickes of the year...Poor Lil Man

And poor boy isn't feeling well again 😔
Might be stomach bug after all.....Poor lil man had a cold Thur and was just sleepy feeling..Friday he seemed good so we thought we were in the clear NOPE
Sat morning he woke at 3:20am saying his tummy hurt, so I had him go potty and go back to bed, he then woke at 4am daddy put him back to bed but he still seems ok...then again at 5 or 6 he got up and by 7 or so started puking....UGH thats just beyond sad to watch, our hearts just broke for him! He puked about every 1hr or less for most of the day and slept!
Then woke up about 4ish and was thirsty and came outside with us for a bit(it was beautiful out) after that he just continued to get better and even ate dinner..he was so hungry from not eating allll day! He barely even drank and for Kyle not to drink that means he felt super bad...he LOVES liquids! hahaha
Today he is feeling great and back to himself..that's the quickest stomach beg ever thankfully! Now lets hope rest of us don't get it!

Finally in a crib!

Thursday night(11/10) we went and picked up a mini crib for Kylie, it was time to move out of the bassinet as she was just rolling and not having the room needed! So thursday night was her first night in the crib...still downstairs! She did good and didn't wake till 2-3am but ate and went back to sleep! Lastnight though we moved her up to our room...I sleep upstairs right now as we are still getting back into good sleep habits after a newborn! hehehe So I found Kylie is a restless lil sleeper...whew she moved like every 30min and whined a few times..LONG night! LOL Hoping tonight will be better as I think part of the problem was it was chilly in the room, we opened the vent more! We'll see how it goes!

Couple first for Kylie! Just shy of 5months we tried a little rice cereal this evening and then we also watched as she focused hard to actually grap her toy...she has before but tonight we could tell she was trying and got!! So cute




And she's officially learned how her lil hands work! YAAAY She's been grapping for a couple weeks now but tonight we watched her try and try and get it on purpose...so very neat to watch all this a 3rd time...amazing be part of each of the milestones!

Happy Veterans Day 2016

Today as every year was a super great and cute program by the wonderful Hinkle Creek kids.....Loved seeing our girl up on stage as one of the Hinkle Creek Cougar Choir! Great job to the kids for celebrating these wonderful men and women!!!
SO excited for more Cougar Choir here soon!

Harvesting Time....Kyle's super awesome ride

Tonight while watching the farmers harvest Kyle got the surprise of his lil life....He got to go for a ride and harvest in a COMBINE!
He loved it and rode in it for a about 45min harvesting the corn field!

Yep here's a moment when you child is in total heaven..omg this just made Kyle's day!

Its bassinet time...1st night

**During a lil fit today Kylie also rolled back-belly than belly-back...boy was she upset going belly-back..might have scared her a bit!

Morning Update: Kylie did great in her bassinet for the first night! :)
Daddy got her down by 9p she slept till 5:15a ate went back to sleep till 8:30a! WOOHOO

Night two:
Our sweetie sleep all night again like this..9-8:15a. Now most freak about 3am when I realized she was sleeping on her tummy ...makes me nervous

Nights 3-4 - she was hard to get to sleep, restless and woke around 2-3am! I'd feed her and she go back to sleep but restless! So last night I went straight to putting her on her belly and she slept all night!

At 4.5 months Kylie rolled from her back to her belly today! Just so neat to have all these fun and amazing moments with a baby again!

Update - November 8th
HEHEHE Kylie is now rolling both ways! Now once she masters it we are in trouble! LOL So awesome 4.5months old....see that littleness works in her favor!!
