A Sunflower blossoming

At the end of kindergarten Kaylee had brought home weee little sunflower plant! They had planted them in class as a project!
They started them from the seedling and brought them home at only a few inches tall! We found a nice place to plant our two plants and just watched them grow! One did awesome and one no so great! I wish I would have taken a pic from the first day but its ok!
We didn't think it was ever going to flower...it grew and grew like 9ft tall and finally got a beautiful flower!

Sickie hit again

Well after bubby got sick sissy got it...bad! Our poor girl was so sick with a fever just over 104*! Poor girl was so hot it made her start puking, severe aches all over and she was so weak! I'm guessing this is how Kyle felt over the weekend as well...thank heavens Kaylee can tell us so we know how to try and help her! Its just an awful feeling watching our kids so sick
So I picked her up from school on Mon and could tell right away something was wrong...but wasn't expecting a 102 temp! As time went her temp went up even with meds...she ended up puking later that night! She slept all night and most of Tue..of course it was her first sick day as well! With meds she felt better by noon Tue...but 6hrs later no meds and 102.5 temp again, gave her some meds and off to bed for the night! Her fever was starting to break though before she went to bed and by morning it was only 100! She wanted to go to school so I let her go Wed...she said sick days were boring! hehehe So she went to school and I promised her I'd be there for lunch just in case she was feeling bad again! She was good, not herself quiet yet but good! She is such a strong lil gal...love her to pieces! Thankfully today she is better better and back to school again! Thank heavens!



And feeling better on her sick day....now its she the prettiest girl ever even sick!

A day with my 1st grade gal

Finally made it to school to have lunch with my girl today...love these days!
Set in with her for lunch...my goodness are those first graders rowdy! hahaha! After lunch I went ahead and went out for a hot recess with her and her friends! Wow was it hot...I love seeing her with friends!

Indiana State Fair 2013

Here is our 3 trips to the state fair! The kids loved it and the weather was awesome!
$2 tuesdays are awesome and Kaylee's favorite...some vendors offer a small $2 elephant ear and Kaylee went crazy over them! So cute! Kyle loved the tractors O so much! They both of course loved the animals! And we all loved eating us some shakes from the dairy barn!
We had a great time and can't wait for next year!

Big Boy haircut

Yep the time has came....no more trims nor curls! Today Ceca gave Kyle his first Big boy cut...and my goodness does he look cute and handsome! And like a lil toddle now!

Poor baby is sick again...but O so cute

Yep eating on the couch is ok when your sick....ok probably all the time! LOL
Kyle spiked another fever and fighting another sickness! He was just sick July 13th and ran a 102 fever and felt awful!
On the 4th he woke from nap with a 101 fever and it just keep going up! Hoping it ends soon! Poor baby boy

Our 1st Grader

Today is Kaylee first day of 1st grade.....she has been very excited! Lastnight was great, she went to bed excited for school in the morning! This morning I went in to wake her at 7:30..pulled the cover down and there was she awesome smile...."I'm a first grader mommy"
7:45 she was already asking when does school start....soon sweetie I told her! She had breakfast, got dressed and out the door..she was ready! Got to school and waited for the bell to ring...I snapped a few pics of her and she was gone before I could walk with her...She was in class putting her bookbag up and sitting at her own lil desk when I walked in! She let me get a couple pics of her and lil hug.....my lil girl has grown to a confident lil girl....as much as it broke my heart, it also warmed it....my baby was comfortable and strong enough to not need me this first day of school....what a WONDERFUL, Sweet little girl we have! Can't wait to hear how her day was!
