Last day of 1st grade

Hard to believe today was Kaylee's last day of 1st grade!
It was a wonderful year for her...she grew so much and just did great in school! We are so very proud of her!
Of course we had to go have some icecream to celebrate the end of school and her successful year!

Love you bunches Sweet Girl...you are so wonderful and we are so very proud of you!

Field Day 2014

Its 1st field day...hard to believe our girls 1st grade year is wrapping up already! Today was a blast, the kids had so much fun and I loved helping out and getting watch all the fun! Love seeing my sweet gal smile so much!

Richie Woods Adventures

The last 1st grade field trip...crazy our little girl is almost done with 1st grade!
Today I spent a fun and fantasic day at Richie Woods Nature Preserve with some great 1st grade kids! It was a blast and couldn't have been a better end of the year trip for Kaylee....she got to do everything she loves....explore nature!

We bird watched, learned about nature and the animals, hiked a little in the mud and then got nets to explore the waters of the swampy area of the park! Super fun....we found tadpoles salamander/frogs, couple toads, fresh water shrimp and other things!

Specials Spectacular

Tonight was the first grade specials night! Kaylee has been looking forward to this for weeks..love seeing such excitement in her!
So specials is music,art,gym and technology....and how cute was tonight! Since 1st grade is so large they broke up the classes in two days which was great...made it much nicer and we could see our girl! It was great to walk through, meet and learn how the kids days go with the specials teachers! I have to say though our favorite was music...the performance from the kids was so cute and perfect! They sang a few songs and a little dance with them....awesome! To watch her sing and have such a huge exciting smile on her face was SPECTACULAR! Love love loved it!

Valentine's Party

Valentine's Party was awesome and super cute! I was head of the craft which I must say was super cute and a hit in class!
We had cookies and cupcakes for snack and then 3 games....tower making with candy,duck duck something and a station to write something nice for Mrs.Spear and then made into a cute heart for her to keep.

For only having 45 mins for parties I must say all went smoothly again and fun!

Christmas Party

Today we Kaylee's class Christmas Party....super cute and fun! Daddy, Kyle and I got to attend all the fun today
We had a snack..Cookies, a craft...christmas wreath and three games! Bingo, snowball toss and musical candy cane!
And Kaylee's favorite part was leaving with us at 3pm after the party!
