Happy 11 Months

Our sweet baby is 11 months old! Hard to believe in just 1 month she'll be a whole YEAR old!

To start with she has changed so much....what was bothering her(something was for sure) just went away or she grew out of it! She is such a happy baby girl now, rarely cries and always has a smile! We feel bad to know something was making her uncomfy and we just couldn't figure it out...maybe silent reflux hang around longer than we thought!

Kylie loves going on walks in the stroller or backback! She just looks around and yes tries to get out of the stroller sometimes! Ever since getting her ear issues all healed she doesn't mind the carseat either now...that will make our vacation drive much easier! hahaha
She has learned to climb the stairs and trying to get the hang of coming down! She pulls up now and starting to cruise a bit! Maybe she'll be walking by Florida! :) She also loves bathes and splashing....super cute! She gets into everything possible and loves putting EVERYTHING under the sun in her mouth...we struggle keeping up with her! hahaha She has four teeth..top and bottom fronts! She loves clapping and still only saying mama and dada and ONLY when she wants, she is very stingy with the words! hahaha

As for eating...she loves about anything we give her! Yogurt, fruit, greenbeans, peas, not super fond of carrots but will eat them, doesn't really like banana baby food but likes cut up real ones! Still working on a sippy cup though...she'll drink from it but then let it run down her mouth! hahaha Still on 6oz bottle every 3hrs!
Sleep has been great as well lately! Most of the time she sleeps from 8:30p-8a maybe later....we've heard her a few time up at 5:30 but she goes back to sleep right away! She normally naps in the morning for a couple hours and cat naps in the afternoon!

Rough weekend for Poor Kyle

About 11am Sat poor lil guy stated having severe tummy aches/pains! Tried resting and everything and the pain just got worse So daddy rushed him over to Riverview! Pretty sure it was his appedix they got a IV started and meds for a CT scan! His pain got worse so they gave him a bit of Morphine to help with pain and relax him this was after the CT scan! All blood work was normal except a white cell count was a bit elevated!
However CT scan looked normal but Er Doc thought being transferred to Payton Manning Peds hospital for overnight observation would be a good idea! He still hurts and doc here thought it would be best to have Kyle somewhere that had a pediatric surgeon just in case! So off we went via ambulance...he talked a bit but unlike Kyle was quiet most of the drive! At Payton Manning they got him all set up in a very cute kids room decorated in Construction theme...perfect for our boy! He was still hurting a bit and was able to catch a little sleep! Daddy and I slept on the pull out couch with our boy! Sunday morning came and he was doing a bit better at first then all of a sudden as we were talking discharge he started crying in pain again! So NO going home and a second round of testing and IV fluids! Testing was for pancreas, parasites and Hep B I think! The the day went on he started doing much better I think due to IV fluids....he got energy, started drinking and eating some! While we waited for test results Mamaw,Papaw brought both sissy's down to visit! Kyle played and started to become much more energetic!! Within a couple hours test results were in and all was clear....after pooing, lots of fluids it was the conclusion he must have a gastrointestinal infection! He was being discharged! YAAAY Then after waking from a small nap he woke with a 103 temp out of the blue....awwwwww! However doc said if he keep drinking and meds helped the fever he could still go home....he did and the fever just broke on its own(very weird) so finally we got to leave around 10p Sunday night!

What a roller-coaster of a weekend and emotions! Its so hard to see your baby in pain and have no way to help other than hugs and holding them!
Thank heavens our little boy is ok and whatever it was passed and he's just fine!
